The Truly Green Activist

Anne Cederberg

Environmental challenges are at the forefront of our awareness these days. However, there are many barriers that prevent people from making effective changes, even when they know of their importance. The sheer scope of problems puts us in panic and/or overwhelm. This program:

• reframes our challenges as a blessing and an opportunity for personal and planetary transformation.
• defines the major blocks to taking action and offers solutions which maximize impact
• shares practical ways to change our physiology and be calm and centered when creating solutions in our own lives and our congregations
• teaches participants to take thinking to a higher level
• Provides tools for envisioning a bright future
• Provides guidelines for appropriate changes
• guides individuals or congregations to create life-enhancing actions plans for change
• Sees religious congregations and organizations as powerful leaders in addressing our environmental problems

This presentation is an overview of the program, “Rich, Deep and Nourishing: Visions of the Truly Green Church”, based on the book written by myself and Abigail Ann Gage.
